The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford is a really exceptional bit of filmmaking. The cinematography is phenomenal, the pacing is deliberate, the story is strong, and the acting is quite good.

I was impressed.

Also, I saw several parallels between it and Lust, Caution, and saw how it was more successful in many ways.

I would elaborate, but I'm sleepy and will just be curling up with my remote and watching some TV.

Also, after a challenge on "Kid Nation" in which the districts had to arrange 7 presidents in order of their terms in office, one girl (Kelsey, age 11) stated:

"Just because [Zach] knows his presidents, doesn't mean he's the best leader. I mean, look at George W. Bush. He's not smart at all but he won the US president two times in a row."

Ha ha. Oh, and the emphasis was hers.
