Suppose someone decides to rent a film...A Perfect Storm, for example. And, of course, it's a Hollywood story, so it will have a happy ending, right? Surely you'll lose a couple people along the way. Bruce Willis dies in Armageddon, but most of the other people lived.
And then that person actually watches A Perfect Storm and ends up in frickin' tears because it's not quite the perfect Hollywood story.
What do you mean they all died? Where was the disclaimer on that?
Honestly, it was a little disappointing.
Ah, well. Live and learn. At least Mark Wahlberg was hot. However, George Clooney lost some points for his inability to use any voice other than his own. No accent, no different intonation. And I was thinking about it...the only film I think he's ever played a character that isn't George Clooney was O, Brother Where Art Thou? (And maybe Intolerable Cruelty, but that's debatable.)
Disappointing. But I still love him, because when you're that fucking cool...you don't need to play any other characters. Have I mentioned this week how psyched I am for Ocean's 13? Oh, I did? Well...it's worth mentioning again.
