Now, maybe it's because I went in thinking it would be like "The Illusionist" and in actuality it is immensely better, but I'd love to see it advertised as more thought-provoking or a mind-game thriller.
I just thought it was a really fascinating movie, and I'd have loved to see it drawing a bigger crowd than I think the marketing allows. It almost looks kitschy.
Oh, and I'm excited that "Breach" is getting good reviews. I was kinda on the fence about it, but I'll definitely be taking part in that one soon. Mmmm...espionage!
I also kinda want to see "Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls," but my overt whiteness might stop me until it's released on DVD. Though Spring Hill would be a good place to see it - 93.5% white, 3% black.
And now. I shower and head to my mom's house to mooch some food. There, we will most likely watch "Brian's Song" and cry. And I was toying with the idea of taking my niece to see "Bridge to Terabithia" because there's no way in hell I'm seeing "Ghost Rider" (which she really wants to see. The child has no taste).
