Dec. 6th, 2006

So I've decided that the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is the classiest raunchy thing ever. (The raunchiest thing with the most class, if you will. I'd say Moulin Rouge-style, but that was just raunchy raunchy.)

There were some beautiful (I dare say) outfits, but overall...it's just mostly naked chicks being gawked at for an hour. It was cool, though, and I enjoyed Justin Timberlake very much. I wonder if they told him to leer at the girls that passed by, or if he just did it because he could. It looked slightly directed.

That said, I have not gotten a chance to watch Pirates yet. I bought it yesterday morning, at 10:18am according to my receipt (I waited to leave my apartment until Best Buy opened at 10. I didn't want to be one of those people who waits outside for a store to open...not even for Pirates!). I also got season one of "How I Met Your Mother" because the more I watch it, the more I love it! (All of it! Not just Neil Patrick Harris anymore!)

But now I'm getting ready for my uber huge tv show pitch presentation thing (my Foundations of Production group project that I've been obsessing about for months). I have written down what I'm going to say and I would memorize it, but I'm sure I'd forget it and be referring to my notes anyway...so I figured I'll just keep them nearby. Maybe it will look tacky to be reading off a sheet of paper, but whatever. I hate note cards and I really don't want to fuck this up.

The good news is that I get to get dressed up. I have a nice pair of black pants, an awesome new gray sweater with a HUGE plunging turtleneck collar (they are so back in style, and I'm rocking it). PLUS! I get to wear my kickass black Isaac Mizrahi pumps. I have mentioned them before...they are the ones that I often wear around my room, just for fun, because I never have occasion to wear them. Well? I have the occasion!!!

So I'm getting all dressed up, practicing my speech to get as close to memorized as possible, and trying not to freak out entirely. My 52 page pilot episode (yeah, it's long...eep) gets turned in today, as well as the other things I've been working on. Yikes.
