I know I've said this before, but I really don't understand where snot comes from. Like...at all. And how SO MUCH of it can be shoved somewhere up my nose.

I do know that I've been on a strict regimen of EVERYTHING in my medicine cabinet. I started today with 2 Aleve, deciding that Advil Cold and Sinus just wasn't cutting it. I quickly decided that was a mistake as I sat through 3 hours of classes with only three Kleenexes that I had to keep reusing (well...after a while, I switched to toilet paper from the bathrooms, but soggy Kleenex would have been much softer). So upon arrive home, I took an Advil Cold and Sinus. Not long after, my right eye felt like it was going to explode, my head hurt and my sinuses were still aching, so I added 2 regular Advil to the mix. Later, I took another Advil Cold and Sinus.

Next up? A bleeding ulcer.

Perhaps I should at least try to space the drugs with the appropriate 4, 6, or 12 hour increments. Three overlapping doses at once is probably not so good.

The good news it that I'm not feeling as stuffy-congested and miserable as yesterday. I'm just snotty, with a sore throat, watery eyes, and a whole lot of aching in many different parts.

Eh, thus is the changing of the seasons? The funny thing though...it's been in the 70's for the past two days. And except for the one rainy day (I was sick before the rains hit...so it wasn't that), it hasn't been below 70 during the day since last week.

Je ne sais pas.

Enough about illness...back to TV. "The Office" was funny (though I'm mad at Jim), "Grey's Anatomy" was on par (McDreamy's sister was a nice mix, and Alex is redeeming himself so nicely), and now I'm on to "CSI," which promises to be intense (pedophile and missing boys...eep!).

After will be "Shark" and then "The Daily Show: Midwest Midterm Midtacular" and "The Colbert Report."

Thursday nights are so good to me.
