What I've watched since getting home from class at 3pm:
- "Will & Grace"
- History of the World, Part I
- Seven
- "Lizzie McGuire" (I had just watched Seven, for god's sake! Oh, who am I kidding? I love "Lizzie McGuire." There...I said it.)
- Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers ("You're late. You look terrible.")

- Sabrina (the original Audrey Hepburn/Humphrey Bogart version)

Rock on.

Classes have been cancelled for tomorrow, due to Tropical Storm Ernesto. Thankfully, he hasn't been upgraded to a hurricane, so the winds are only at 45 mph and rains in Miami are projected to only reach 8".

Notice the use of "only" as though I'm a seasoned hurricane survivalist. In all honesty, I'm slightly unnerved. By the time it gets to Orlando it should just be a bad storm, but our "normal" storms are rather horrendous and remind me of the torrential downpours that accompanied tornados back home. I miss tornados. I've lived through two of those. Hurricanes are a whole different beast...

Ah well. Back to the movie and ignoring the immanent storm. It's supposed to start near sunrise tomorrow.

I, too, say that I love Lizzie McGuire.

BUT. Only because of Gordo. Really...

I was watching like an hour of Return of the King, and during it the cable guy came and turned on our digital cable (oowee!!!--I so watched The Dark Angel marathon yesterday... because Jessica Alba's SUPER HOT) and when he asked what we were watching and said Return of the King, he was all like, Is that a religious thing...? and we just stared at him. What a fucking FREAK! We almost died laughing at him.

I like the rain icon. I need new icons, but I'm not super inspried to make one right now.
