This is the time when I would hide myself in my bedroom in the security of the basement, or conveniently stow myself away in a corner of Barnes & Noble until the anxiety level had fallen. But I no longer live in my house in Deerfield, and I have no technical bedroom (there is only "Mom's Room," "Dad's room," and "The Guest Room." My permanent residence has no permanent place for me), and there is no Barnes & Noble within 45 miles.
Not to mention that right now, I can't get away. I am writing my Poli Sci essays (mmm...Supreme Court judicial review), and I need to shower because I'm still in my pajamas.
Luckily, she just went down to my aunt's house to let out the dogs. So I have about 10 minutes of peace.
My sister and her husband, and my daddy should be arriving within the half-hour (yay!), I'm actually getting work done (double yay!!), and the mother is seriously freaking out (ugh!!!).
