It's good to hear your voice, you know it's been so long...

My internet connection recently has been incredibly shoddy. I use a wireless router, so both my laptop and desktop are wirelessly connected. I've never had a problem until recently. The connection drops every few minutes or so, making it impossible to stay signed on to AIM, and difficult to do research on the internet, as I usually end up with a "cannot connect to server" error. Even getting and sending emails must be done during the alloted time my internet decides to work.

I don't really understand what the problem is. My wireless connection is password protected, so no one is mooching or tampering with it. I even reset the whole thing and created a new password (because apparently I'm paranoid). I'm about this|close to buying a 25' ethernet cable from Best Buy (because, of course, my desk and the ethernet port are on opposite sides of my room).

This is just frustrating. The internet is no longer a novelty...it's a way of life. And my life is being disrupted.

[EDIT: Seriously...for the past four days, my internet has sucked. Less than a half hour after I posted this, it miraculously has improved 17 times over. I signed on AIM and have been on for over 3 hours. Crazy go nuts.]
