Just you and me down that old dirt road, no one saw a thing except for...

So after my marathon of posting yesterday, I haven't gotten a single word in today.

Today in class, we watched Psycho. Always a nice "welcome to a new semester" choice. I probably would have chosen something along the lines of Die Hard or Singing in the Rain, but whatever floats your boat. I think it should be mentioned that my professor for this class was the same man who came up with the "film" Fetus Fetish that we watched last semester in my Art of Cinema class. [...] Does not bode well, but he seems nice enough. And slightly hard of hearing, he kept telling us to yell at him. Kinda funny.

The end of that class marked the beginning of my weekend, though. 1:15pm today until 3pm on Tuesday. Sizable, indeed. I don't know how much of it will be spent at my mother's. Obviously, I'll be back to my apartment by Golden Globe time on Monday. Daddy leaves mid-day Sunday, so maybe Monday morning I'll head back. Eh, it's up in the air.

I'm trying to get my mother interested in seeing Casanova, but I've heard there are more than one oral sex gag (no pun intended), and I don't know if I want to sit through that with my mom. I was thinking of dragging her to Tristan and Isolde but I'm worried it's too geared toward the 18 to 25 demographic (the soundtrack choice being the number one indicator). Besides, she's a Meg Ryan romantic comedy type...though she did like Pride and Prejudice when I forced her to see it. My Aunt Judy really wants to see Brokeback Mountain, but it's not playing out here in bumble (though to her defense, it's not playing in Orlando either). Not that I'd really want to see that with my mom either...but yay for the interest.

That's about it for now. I'm going to attempt to update *poofgone* with a little different format. We'll see how it goes.
