Show me the way to go home, I'm tired and I want to go to bed...

The past couple days have been very fun. On Thursday, after my finals and watching Love Actually and Stage Beauty, I met my brother and sister-in-law at EPCOT. We saw the tree lighting, and went around the World Showcase were we saw the O Canada and Impressions de France movies, ate at Japan (which was really good), rode Norway's Maelstrom ride, and then got dessert at Norway while we staked out a spot to watch IllumiNATIONS: Reflections of Earth fireworks and lights show. Then we went to Honey, I Shrunk the Audience and The Living Seas (with Turtle Talk with Crush). With the exception of Maelstrom, it was all new to me...stuff I hadn't done before. Excellent.

Friday, I picked them up from their hotel and we shopped around at Downtown Disney for a while, before heading to Spring Hill to get to my mom's house. Had a late lunch at Johnny Carrino's (yummy Italian place) before seeing a high school production of "A Christmas Carol". There were a few talented kids, and it wasn't terrible, but there were certainly some laughable aspects. I wouldn't want to see it again.

Yesterday, we went to the beach. It was too cold to tan or anything (only 65 degrees), but we walked around. Then we went up to Homosassa Springs Wildlife Preserve where we saw the manatees, as well as some alligators, a bobcat, a hippo, some otters, and a whole lot of birds including flamingos, pelicans, and hawks. Pretty nifty for a state park. We had a super yummy lunch at Beef O'Brady's before returning home to prepare for dinner. A mere two hours later, we would be hosting dinner for the family in the area. Oh was good anyway.

Today, we'll be chilling around until about 4 when Dave and Katie will be heading to the airport. And then there are four days of me and the madre chilling until I can go home on Thursday.

Is it Thursday yet?
