I'm in love with her and I feel fine...

So shortly after my post last night, I went to bed. By 8:30pm, I was curled up and cozy and by 9pm, I was fast asleep.

I woke at 7:30am to my alarm. So maybe I was sick, or maybe I just needed the sleep.

Now I'm going down to Disney (not for fun, but for business) and will be watching a presentation about their College Program (internship) and then scheduling an interview. I have considered canceling my application about 2 and a half billion time, but I suppose there's no harm in trying. While one can take classes during the internship (not entirely sure how that works), he/she is limited to 2 classes. And at that rate I'm never going to graduate. Our dear friend Nikki is set to graduate next December (a semester early) and here I am HOPING to finish by May 2008 (though I may need an extra semester or two). Then again, she knew what she wanted to do upon entering college and has stuck with it. The same cannot be said for most.

I guess the internship would be cool. Try to make some "connections" out in the business world...and where would be better than Disney, for fuck's sake? I suppose it would be worth the delayed graduation (come on 2009!) to get "real world experience" and "get myself known." God, I hate playing the field like this. It's why I hated being a theatre major at IU. It was all about who you knew. I guess if I didn't want that, I should have picked a "safe" career. Maybe it's not too late to go into education...

Anyway. So that's my plan for today. Depending on how it goes, I may head over to EPCOT (Food and Wine Festival ends tomorrow!) or just come home and wallow. I HATE job interviews, and even just applying. It usually ends with me laying in bed and watching episodes of West Wing, or something like that.

On the upside, my iMac is done, and has been "shipped". It's still in Shanghai, but has left the factory and is now at the FedEx shipping facility. Maybe by mid-week? I'm thinking Thursday...which is perfect, because after class, I'll be heading to Mama's anyway...oh no, wait. Thursday night is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, so I won't be going to Spring Hill until Friday morning. So maybe Friday I'll get my computer (it's being shipped to the casa de mi madre, because I don't trust my apartment complex. They are idiots).

But computer very soon! And the debt piles up. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming...
