So hurricane...

While it's predicted that Wilma will hit land in Florida Sunday as a category 1 (weak), we are already getting rains from her...and she's still over Cozumel and the Yucatan Peninsula. Schools around here are already calling for emergency days on Monday and the counties South of here have called for a state of emergency. Also, ALL of Florida is in a State of Emergency - which as far as I can tell, it means that the "Emergency Director" has the power to mandate an evacuation.

70,000 people have already been ordered to evacuate (in the South parts of Florida).

She hasn't even begun her swing back.

But it looks as though I'll experience my first actual hurricane. Katrina and Rita both gave us a lot of rain, both in Spring Hill and Orlando, but Wilma is actually supposed to make landfall, and cross the state.

Crazy.

Here comes the rain...
