For my lovely sister, cicigreen.

I wanted to keep it for myself...but they aren't my kids. And "I *heart* my niece and nephew" just doesn't fit well on a tree. Oh well...maybe next time.

Oohkay. Hey there. Dumb question: Who's Hermione Granger fraternizing with that's an enemy who's a brunette?? Send me some of the best of the stories you've been reading! In e-mail! I'm deprived!

Miss you, love you, sorry you have perpetual illness and must drink tons of O.J. and deal with snot, sorry Florida sucks (be grateful you didn't transfer to Tulane, which has been cancelled for the whole year), catch you around the internet,

First, you're silly...it's Viktor Krum. He's rather brunette and Ron refers to him as "the enemy."

I'm so sad I wasn't awake at 4:30am when you were online! Actually, I'm not sad I wasn't awake, because that's super late, but I'm disappointed I didn't get to talk to you. The away message was a reference to something I had posted on *poofgone*...just a little frustration I was getting out.

I did my orange juice thing and it seemed to help my immune system adjust to the crazy changes in temperature, etc. And I'm very grateful that I'm not at Tulane. I'm itching to graduate as it is, I don't think I could deal with a whole year off of school. Can you just imagine all the problems they are going to have for years to come? They'll probably have to suspend admissions for a year to account for the lack of students graduating. And imagine having paid $$$ to attend for a year...are they going to be refunding everyone, or holding it over for the next year? Uh, too much to think about!

Alright, well, I'll look through for stories to send you and zip them off in an email. Until then, I love you and I hope Lux is treating you well!

We are currently speaking in real time, and yet: the students from Tulane are being absorbed by other schools where they were accepted but didn't go. Miami, for instance, is taking on a lot of them and they're just going to jump in a few weeks late. They're saying that the French Quarter and biz district didn't sustain lasting damage; it's reparable, or that's what they're saying right now. But the school might not recover, right? Such a bummer.
