Because it was Friday. And I go a bit crazy on Fridays. And the kids love it.
And also because I had a Frappuccino this morning, so I was bouncy very early instead of being dead for the first hour or so.
And tonight is the Goo Goo Dolls/Bon Jovi concert. SOOOOO excited! I leave in about an hour because it's in bumble fuck about an hour and a half away (with good traffic).
Friday Five! (Haven't done one of these in forever.)
1. Do you remember your first best friend? Who was it?
Well, at the beginning of first grade I was good friends with Beth Haber, but I don't think I had a best friend until the middle of that year when Sarah Newburger (a huge bitch) "stole" Beth from me and I became friends with Joanne Barnhart. We stayed the best of friends for a while and did everything together all the time.
2. Are you still in touch with this person?
No. She's a pretty big druggie and I haven't talked to her since elementary school. She was in my Economics class second semester though.
3. Do you have a current close friend?
4. How did you become friends with this person?
The first I met in kindergarten and was in a special advanced math course with her since then. We became friends were then in the same 2nd grade class room but not until the end of that year. The second I met my freshman year at stage crew, but I didn't get to know him until second semester of my junior year.
5. Is there a friend from your past that you wish you were still in contact with? Why?
There are a few that I would like to know what they are up to now. In 3rd grade there was this really sweet girl named Jenny Baker who moved away. I hung around her, Sara Firestone and Haley Braun. I think it would be cool to still be in contact with these girls, but we have since scattered and become very different people. Really, if I stopped being friends with them, there's been a reason.
