Um...

Eep!

"Microsoft Word has insufficient memory to save the document. Would you like is saved as a Recovered Document?"

Uh...so. 12 GB hard drive.

11.9 GB used.

I have 165 MB of room.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I can't have more than two programs running at the same time. Winamp, Outlook and Word can all be supported, but once you add Internet Explorer, Word goes kaput.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Perhaps some of my 882 mp3s will have to be trashed. Just a thought though, I'm not quite sure about it.

What you need is a 40 GB hard drive.

Like mine.

Cici = special

And I mean special like important... not special like touched in the head.

Re:
Riiiight. "Special."

Do you get to ride the little bus to school too?

And do you know what I'd give for a 40 GB hard drive? Probably a toe. I was thinking an ear, but maybe just a toe.

But it's sandal season!!!! You cannot be lacking in a toe during sandal season!

At least without the ear, you have hair that can cover that up.

Where are your priorities!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Re:
To be honest, I took sandal season into account, and it almost swayed my decision, but I stick by toe.

Maybe you just need to fork over a kidney or lung or something. You have extras!

We must save the toe! We need others to take up this fight. The toe has rights and they are being walked all over (pun intended)! This cannot be allowed to continue.

SAVE GAIL'S TOE! SAVE GAIL'S TOE! SAVE GAIL'S TOE! SAVE GAIL'S TOE!

This PSA brought to you by a serious lack of sleep! No toes were injured in typing this announcement. Paid for by the people to Save Gail's Toe.

hate to be all "techie" on ya
What you need ain't more gigs of space, hon, its megs of RAM. See, there are two measurements on computers. RAM (memory) and space. You have very little space left, but that isn't necessarily causing your problem. You must be running low on memory for that problem to happen.
The only way that space effects memory is that some computers use "Virtual memory" where they cheat and treat empty hard drive space as memory, but even then, you should be able to run more than one thing at once.

Umm...okay.

All I know is that it's having problems when too many programs are trying to run.

But thanks anyway. :)

Out of curiosity though...

How does one fix this problem? What do I need to buy?
