You know what I love about Howard Dean? He actually appreciates the college-aged voter.
Not only recognizes, but appreciates. That's fucking unheard of.
Dude! Bill Nye is on "NUMB3RS!"
Or rather...he was on Friday's episode. (I'm still catching up from my weekend TiVo'ed shows.)
For those of you following along at home, I have a lot of work to do by Wednesday, but I've spent the last 4 and a half hours watching television. I caught up on two days of Daily Show, Colbert Report, and Ellen, three days of Family Guy reruns, and episodes of Sunday Morning Shootout and Numb3rs. I still have a CSI and Desperate Housewives to go.
The upside is that I can watch all 9 hours in 6 1/2 to 7 hours. It's amazing how much time commercials take up. I'm eliminating 2+ HOURS of commercial time with my TiVo.
Rock the fuck on, eh?
And once all that is done, I'll have tonight's Scrubs, Celebrity Jeopardy, How I Met Your Mother (I TiVo, then only watch scenes with Neil Patrick Harris...what can I say? I'm a "Doogie" fan), The New Adventures of Old Christine, and Studio 60.
Oy...big night ahead of me.
Any bets on how much of my paper will get written tonight? Or script polishing? Or character breakdown (and the powerpoint slides to accompany them)?
So I know I've said this before, but it really warrants repeating every once in a while.
I love Matthew Perry.
I loved him as Chandler on "Friends."
I loved him as Oz in The Whole Nine Yards.
I LOVED him as Alex Whitman in Fools Rush In.
I loved when he briefly appeared on "The West Wing" at the end of season 4 (3 episodes).
I love his cameo on "Scrubs" (which I'm currently watching on Comedy Central, episode "My Unicorn").
And I love his role on "Studio 60."
He's just fucking awesome.
"I love this moment so much, I want to have sex with it." - Dr. Cox.
Followed later by: "By the by, this moment is SO great, I'd cheat on that other moment from before, marry this one and raise a family of tiny, little moments." - Dr. Cox.
"Scrubs" is so good.
