I was saved tonight by Zack and Peter, who picked me up and we went to Kate's house.
It was eh, but at least it was something to do. We watched some of The Royal Tennenbaums (I need to see that), the Sunday Night Sex Show, Daria, and other really random crap. We left at 1-ish.
I should go prom dress shopping tomorrow. :-\
For whatever reason, this makes me very 'eh' and a bit anxious. Pas bien.
Maybe I'll head to Woodfield or Old Orchard in the morning. I need to be home by 1...so I might have to get up early. Ugh...I should find someone to take with me. Allie has a meet. Fayanne's home this weekend for Easter. Maybe I'll call up Zoe and see what she's doing.
I'm tired. Always tired.
Someone is going to hell.
Because I went to bed at 2:30. And was woken up at 8.
Fuck the wife.
So I'm up, and showered, and ready to go prom dress shopping (let me control my enthusiasm...).
If I leave now, I have 3 quality hours at Old Orchard before I have to get my ass to Arlington Heights.
Family Easter dinner tonight at 6:30. If everyone comes, it will be about 24. Fuck.
*beats head against wall*
So much of a headache.
Nothing boosts self-esteem like going prom dress shopping!
Didn't find much. Apparently this year's fashions are all about the a) black and white. A lot of white. What the fuck? and b) sleek, form-fitting slip dresses. EWW! I want something big and flow-y and pretty, and PRINCESS. Fuck them all.
And it took 45 minutes to drive from Old Orchard to Woodfield because of construction, and that they are in opposite directions. Blah.
And I had 15 minutes between Woodfield and my doctor's appointment, so luckily I got a chance to grab a bowl of soup from Panera.
Easter Dinner tonight is at 6:30, and Mama had the inspired idea of putting everyone in the basement. So she's been down here all day, and is so in my personal space right now. Basement = mine. Get out. NOW.
But alas...the whole fam-damily will be coming...within the next half hour. Someone save me. PLEASE.
Tonight was alright.
Dinner was huge. About 23 people came, plus me, Mama and Daddy = lots of people in our little house. Our family is pretty funny all together. There were a lot of non-related folks (boy/girlfriends, spouses) hitting on each other. And we're just a funny bunch. Mama got mildly drunk on Arbor Mist. She doesn't hold alcohol well.
The last of everyone left around 10:30.
Whoa. I was bombarded with IMs. Carly, Steph and Jenny. It's funny, cause none of them are the same age. Carly's a senior, Steph's a freshman in college, and Jen's a sophomore in college. Yay.
I should get sleep. My cycles have been majorly fucked up.
