Come with me and you'll be in a world of pure imagination

This day has been so uber-long, and I like it.

Two Weeks Notice was actually pretty good. I figured it would be a cute, little, chick-flick without too much merit. I suppose it sort of was, but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Hugh Grant is adorable.

After, we went to Candace's house. Nikki, Candace, Zoe and I just hung around for a while and ate dinner. We called everyone on the planet that we thought would want to do stuff...left messages a ton of places...but were mostly unsuccessful.

After a couple hours though, Caitlin came over and then Chazz showed up. We started playing a game of Trivial Pursuit. Then I got a call from Mary!! It's her birthday today (the big 20!) and she wanted to know if we wanted to go bowling. We are all so incredibly LAZY and completely BROKE that we had to say no. She said that she would call me back.

A little while later, she, Steph and Lindsay showed up and we abandoned the Trivial Pursuit to play Cranium. 'Twas fun, new and different.

Around midnight, Zoe and Nikki left, but Jason called and joined the fun. We finished off the game and sat around a while longer.

Finally, we made it home around 1:30.

And that was my fun and exciting evening.

Happy Birthday, Martii!!!

I hope your day is filled with fabulous birthday goodness! ;-)

As a side note, it is my belief that all people should sleep until 11. It makes them much happier and more ready for a day ahead!

I am in SO MUCH PAIN right's not even funny. I resorted to taking Aleve, and I basically don't take OTC drugs anymore. Boo.

In other news, we have MTV2, MTV Hits, and a whole slew of new VH1 stations that I didn't know we had! Where was the memo on this?!?!?!?!

AHHHHH!!! The PAIN!!!!

I need an icon from "Cry Me a River". Justin's pouty face. The close up...where he looks all hurt and sad. With a caption like "That hurt" or "Ouch" or something else clever. Must do that...sometime.

And I'm spent. Need to find people to go out tonight. I don't want to stay home. I want to go ooooUUUUUUtttt tonight!

Random music stuff:

In Erehwon today, they were playing Guster and Peter Gabriel. Random, and completely something that would be found on my playlists.

We were watching random countdown shows on VH1 at Nikki's on Friday and we were commenting on stuff. "Her hair is hideous" "That song sucks, but it's so addicting" etc. Every once in a while someone would say "Does anyone know if [whoever]'s new album is good?" and I give a 5 minute summary of my feelings on it. Because apparently I'm the most informed out of most of my friends. And the one with the widest variety of music.

Which leads me to my last point. Zoe has borrowed the new Matchbox album, the new 3 Doors Down album, the new Alanis album and the semi-new Pink album. I'm suppose to burn her copies, but I figured I'd make sure she really wants them first.

So I'm without my Matchbox and 3 Doors Down...which I've been listening to non-stop for a few weeks now. Tragic.

That is all.
