(no subject)

Long day. Much tired.

School = fine.

I was quoted for a Deerprints article and was complemented on the quote by both Susan and Eric. They were both very impressed with it, and it honestly made me feel really good that they were both raving about it so much. Much with the yay.

Everything else was pretty boring. I have to read Act II of Hamlet for Monday. Did half during a free period. Have quite a bit of busy work for APES, but none too time consuming.

A pulled a muscle in my back playing pillow polo in gym. Yes, yes...I do feel like a fucking idiot.

Crew = fun.

Tomorrow we meet from 1-4, then we're playing kickball and probably doing dinner. Lots of light focusing, but I already requested to model, so I stand in one spot on stage for a while instead of messing with the instruments. Sweet.

We went to see the new Bond film tonight. It was highly entertaining, and I enjoyed it. Pierce!!! SO HOT!!! Mmmm!

Basically, our group of geeky guy friends (woo chess team!) had tickets for the 9:30 showing at Showplace (mmm...cheep), so we had Ben go after school and buy us [Allie, Candace, Caitlin, me, him and Zoe] for the same time. I felt pretty bad.

Then I felt worse when Caitlin stole Pat from their group for dinner, and subsequently Goldy and Chazz. We all went to Max and Erma's in Vernon Hills but when the wait became too long (they kept pushing our time back) we got fed up and left. Mmm...Portillo's. Quick, cheep and easy. Yum.

After the movie, Zoe and I went to my sister's apartment to check up on the cats. She gave them enough food to last at least through tomorrow and probably Sunday. I'll definitely check up on them again Sunday, and if I have time...maybe tomorrow too. They were fine though.

Right now, Fayanne is home, with Brad. And Brad's sister and Brad's sister's boyfriend. All in my house. Random, yes. But oh well. It's not the first time we've had strange people stay at our house. And they're only here for a day. Haven't seen any of them yet, I've been out all day.

And for's bedtime!

When the sun stops sinking on your beautiful soul

Welcome to Saturday.

I've actually been up for over an hour, but am just getting a chance to update. My computer, of course, crashed earlier as I was reading my friends page. Boo.

Our guests from Central Illinois have left. I saw my sister for a whole 10 minutes...maybe. They are all going downtown to meet up with Brad and Sarah's parents and go shopping and eat and all the fun stuff to do in the city. They are also going to be catching the parade and tree lighting tonight. Ooo.

I was contemplating going to the bank to open a checking account. Because I can. And having an ATM/debit card would be a nice safety. I'm so worried that I'll abuse the privilege and always wind up broke. But then again, I have an incredible amount of self control, as I know from my lack of 3 Doors Down CD. :-(

Crew at 1. So I have a little under 3 hours. I suppose I could go to the bank. Why not do it solo, since my parents probably wouldn't want to take me. Well, my father probably would, but he's not so good with all that financial stuff. Mama the accountant would be a good one to go, but a) she's in Florida and b) ...yeah, she probably wouldn't want to anyhow. *sigh*

Better shower now. Considering actually blow-drying my hair. Wha??

Living just isn't hard enough, burn me alive inside

Daddy's so cute. He just asked if I wanted to go out to dinner with him before I head out for the evening. I actually feel really guilty that I just came from Chili's. Note: We are both happier people when Mama is at least 7 states away.

Crew was fun. We got a good amount of work done. We could have done much more if we were focused. But also there are only jobs for about 5 people at a time, so the rest of everyone sits around doing nothing and waiting. It brings the atmosphere down. 'Tis alright though, because we have fun anyhow.

I couldn't count the number of times I've been called a bitch or whore today. It really is a term of endearment though. We are strange folks.

Me: What's going on?
Person: Charlie spilled water on his crotch.
Me: ...? Was it in Caitlin's mouth first?

She had been drinking water and it was from her bottle that he spilled. I thought it was a viable question, but some horny teenagers misconstrue things. ;-)

Kickball in the gym was okay. Volleyball was more fun, and I hate the lights in the IM gym. So yellow. :-p The West Gym is all bright and pretty. Stupid basketball games.

Chili's for dinner! Yum! Chicken tacos that I have been craving FOREVER. And they were really good tonight. Sweet.

Now I'm home. Dead tired and with an hour before I have to go to Allie's. I'm considering a quick shower. And even a little nap. We'll have to see.
