Somebody's gonna give you a lesson in leaving

I have soooooo much to do this weekend.

Mainly? Housing. Must. Get. Done. Tomorrow.

I should get to Northwestern. And soon. Or at least begin working on the essays and such (the questions I can get from the online form).

Must. Start. Essays. By Monday.

I also need to send out the STUNTS schedule, as well as tell the band what days they are teching and see if they want to have rehearsal on they days they aren't...or at least what times they want to hold rehearsal.

I'd like to read more of Ender's Game. The sooner I finish, the sooner I get started on The Story of B.

Mommy wanted me to go with Fayanne to Western this weekend. I really don't want to. And I don't think I'll have the time either. I have college apps to do. *cough*Excuses, excuses!*cough*

Lesson in Leaving - Jo Dee Messina (in head...*shrug???*)

She said "I might not be seeing you soon. There's a few things I've been meaning to do"

Lazy day. I'm still not dressed. Mama probably disapproves. But screw her.

I read a couple chapters of Ender's Game. It's pretty good so far.

My brother is over, fixing his Jeep. He borrowed my car for a bit, but has returned. Ci and the kids are coming over soon-ish. Mama's actually cooking a meal. Because Fayanne is home. Don't worry, it has nothing to do with the fact that my birthday was this week. That would just be silly.

I feel as though I should at least shower and get dressed. Everyone is here or on their way (except Emily. She and Tom are taking a weekend trip to the Dell's for her birthday).

Must've been hard to see through the tears she was crying...

Victoria - John Mayer (in head)

And when the stars are shining in your eyes...

Though I did eventually shower and get dressed today, I never did put on any make up. I also haven't worn my glasses for more than 10 minutes all day. It was just easier to go without.

And eyes without eyeliner look tired. This I have learned.

I read quite a bit of Ender's Game today. I'd say that my goal is to finish by the end of the weekend...but I'm afraid it won't happen. Broken goals are the worst because you can only blame yourself for them.

Tomorrow night is our "birthday dinner" for Emily and me. Apparently we are going to Olive Garden.

Monday, I'll be doing lunch with Fayanne before she goes back home.

I guess that's it. I'm not really tired, but I don't have anything to do but sleep. And I'm sort of "reading"ed out right now.
