I was up until 3:30...then up and down since then. I was awake at 5 and I don't remember other times. But a lot.
But yes. Tossed and turned. Did not to go bed at 2, like I said. Or 3. Not until almost 3:30. Am still up now.
Damn. I'm good.
Edit: Oh and I woke up to this *POUNDING* that I could not figure out. So my mind made the situation "Candace said 7, not 7:30 and has been beating down your door for the past 10 minutes"
So I dash up the stairs...but now Candace. I think Mama might have been hammering something. Or hitting something violently against a counter. I don't ask questions.
Considering that whole 3 and a half hours of sleep thing...I'll be taking a nap soon.
Arena was a bust. I couldn't change anything. And decided against taking up Issues as well.
Candace and I got there at 7:30 and were numbers 125 and 126. Doors opened at 7, and they didn't start things until 7:30. But people line up far ahead of time. It's rumored the earliest this year was 2:30. It's not rare for people to show up at 4am, but most start lining up around 6.
But yeah. We get there. They are on number 30. So we take our numbers and leave to go get breakfast at Sage Hen Cafe. It wasn't too bad. Wasn't overly good either, but it was cheap. That took us an hour, and when we got back, they were on 55. So we walked around outside for a bit. Went into the new Fine Arts wing. Went past the signs that say "No students beyond this point". We saw most of the building except X-hall.
We went back over by arena and they were still only in the 70s (50 more to go!) but Nikki and Allie had finished cross country practice and were talking to people. We sat and chatted, then took Allie on a tour of the new stuff. We went through X-hall, and upstairs X-hall (which I had never been in before...oooo!) and walked back toward normal stuff.
Finally after about an hour we got yelled at that we weren't supposed to be where we were, so we headed toward normal areas.
I found out that I have a fall play meeting tomorrow at 12:30 until 2. And the book sale from 8:30 until 10:30 and the freshman info meeting (for Theatre) from 10:15 until 11.
Oy.
Wednesday I'll be going to pick up Beyond Ravinia applications with Candace and then Thursday is another Freshman info meeting (but not until 3:45).
The nap was not quite fulfilling. A little under two hours. And I need to get lunch. Bah.
And now I definitely need a shower. So many hassles.
But I just sent Eric some STUNTS stuff and he responded with "You are a goddess."
So I sent back: "I know. :-D"
Bwahahaha. I crack myself up sometimes.
Which reminds me, I still need to make that in calendar format. Which reminds me that I need to ask Crystal about importing calendars from Palm to Microsoft Outlook. Hrm.
Well, most of my friends and I aren't on such great terms. My bad. Will attempt to be fixed.
Either way, I generally only talk to her in person.
So today she IMs me.
And she only IMs me when she feels like bitching about her life and making it seem like she has so much to do and is the only one who is overloaded.
Oy.
I dislike talking to her so much! As if she's the only one who has a hectic life!
...
How is it that cats find the one article of black clothing that happens to be laying around, and sit on it.
Furry-ass beast!
But I love her because she's cute, so she's forgiven. Hee!
Still haven't showered. May do that now.
Oh, and question for the masses: Is it possible to import a calendar from Palm to Outlook? I know it should be, but it's really not. The world is against me today. I'm trying to keep my head up.
And apparently I play with the straps a lot (?) or something because it's totally throwing me off. A lot. I keep expecting two straps (tank top and bra) and there's only the tank. A lot.
Hmm.
This post has been brought to you by the letters T, M and I.
Rob's was fun. He, Jason, Charlie and I played a game of Settlers. Then Nikki, Carly, Amanda, and Garvey came and we played Spoons.
That's it really. We just hung around.
I'm feeling a bit bleh, and my back hurts and I'm tired, so I think I'm going to try and get to bed soon.
The book sale is tomorrow morning. From 8:30 until 10:30. Candace is driving me again, so we are going right at 8:30. The line is going to be huge. Eww.
But I have a 10 o'clock meeting, so I need to have my books before that.
Then I have a 12:30 meeting. I'll go home and come back for that one though. Oy. I'm not so in the mood.
