Just look what you've gone and done, ruined everything for everyone

I went to bed at 1:15-ish last night, and was woken around 8. Mama was doing laundry. I got out of bed at 8:45 and she was sitting at the computer. She decided she would go into work late, apparently.

I went to the bathroom and tried to get back to sleep. She started vacuuming around 9. I was tossing and turning for a good two hours before I managed to sleep.

She left at some point, and I woke up at 11.

So much tiredness.

I need to pack for camping. We're leaving at about 5. Jason gets home from work at 4, and still needs to pack and load the car with what he's bringing. Then he'll pick up Charlie and me. Hopefully traffic going North on the Tri-State won't be too bad (HA!) and we'll get there in about an hour. We'll shop for food once we know we have a site.

Yeah. Still tired. Very hungry. Not so coherent. I need sleep.

Oh, and I finally got stuff to kill pop-up windows and prevent them from opening. I don't know where it came from, it just showed up when I restarted the computer. Heh.

I'm just laying here, staring at the ceiling tiles

The Friday Five:

1. What is your lineage? Where are your ancestors from?
Mama's family is 100% German (her grandparents or great-grandparents immigrated here) and Daddy's family is 50% German, and the rest is Dutch, Norwegian and I think English. So I'm 75% German, and trace amounts of the rest.

2. Of those countries, which would you most like to visit?

3. Which would you least like to visit? Why?
Norway, I guess. It just seems very icy, cold, desolate and has a lot of little islands.

4. Do you do anything during the year to celebrate or recognize your heritage?
Umm...sometimes we go to GermanFest up in Milwaukee (it's like SummerFest, but with polka bands, Leinekugles, and potato pancakes). Mama makes Ginger Snaps around Christmas time (I think those are of German descent...)

5. Who were the first ancestors to move to your present country (parents, grandparents, etc)?
Great-grandparents, or great-great. Not quite sure. I haven't done a family tree project since 8th grade.

Baby if I could fly, I'd fly into your arms

No one has been updating. Journal is completely dead.

Yup. Dead.

What have I been doing? Well, since the packing extravaganza, I read more of the book. So very interesting.

I also gushed over the full page Joey Rent ad that's posted over at joey_in_rent. So much with the Joey love. So...when can I start getting Joey in Rent bootlegs, eh?

We are leaving for camping within the hour!!!! Woooo!!! Very excited, despite all the negative crap that's been going around. It'll be a nice weekend, with any luck.

My sister (who is up from central Illinois) was making fun and said something like "So if you don't get a site, you gonna go find a hotel room?" Ahahaha.

So excited.

And I just realized that I can't shut my computer down or the other one won't have internet access. Heh. So it's a good thing my baby was rebooted yesterday.

So yes. This is probably my last post until Sunday night. Love you all and have a great weekend!!
