Now I understand, what you tried to say to me. They did not listen, they did not know how

perhaps they'll listen now.

Okay, so the next time I decide I'm going to make applesauce from scratch, and by hand....PLEASE someone tell me not to. One, it takes a fucking long time. At least 2 hours to soak the apples, then over a half hour to cook them. And don't even get me STARTED about mashing! Gah!! If I had a food processor, this may have been successful. But no. I had one (1) potato masher (too big for applesauce), one (1) powder sugar spreader thing (too small and didn't work, and one (1) soup ladle. Yes, I mushed apples with the bottom of a ladle.

Very unsuccessful. Didn't enjoy it. Bah.

I'm thinking that 8am wake up isn't gonna happen. Hellooooo 9 o'clock!

I should finish my history homework and get to bed. Damn apple sauce!

Side note: The kitchen smells really good. Mmm...apple cider...

Starry, Starry Night (Vincent's Song) - Vonda Shepard

Mama was a lunatic, she liked to push my buttons.

My body alarm is too good.

Gail's body alarm: *screams* AHHHHH!!!
Me: *sleepily* The hell?
GBA: Must get up!!!!
Me: No. Sleep. *rolls over and closes eyes*
GBA: Um...you're going to be late for school.
Me: No I'm not. Go back to sleep. It's only 7:50. *lays down*
GBA: *spazzes*
Me: You suck so much. *gets out of bed*
GBA: *really really happy*
Me: I hate you.
GBA: You love me because now you won't be late. *smiles*
Me: You still suck.

So yes, I'm up. And going to school. And Mama just got back from getting gas, so I'm off. Bye folks. Have a wonderful day!

My Vietnam - Pink (in my head)

I was wasted in the afternoon waiting on a train.I woke up in pieces and Elizabeth disappeared again

It is 74 degrees out!

And sunny!!

And it's so incredibly beautiful!

Which means my room is an igloo! (Basement -> under ground -> no natural heat -> heat from furnace -> furnace off when nice upstairs -> my room freezing)

But today was good. During French, this kid Tony and I were paired up and writing sentences about needs and wants (mmm...subjunctive) and we were amusing ourselves by saying things like "Mes grand-parents voudrais que je tue un elephant rouge" = My grandparents want me to kill a pink elephant. And we had a lot of sentences using "le crack". Like "Il defends que mes amis fument le "crack" dans ma chambre". It's forbidden for my friends to smoke crack in my room.

Eh, we are children. It's okay.

So much goodness in theatre today!!!

So we are in an audition unit, and have been working on monologues. Our grade for this unit, thus, was performing the monologue in a professional audition setting. You go in, say "Hi, I'm Gail and I will be performing the monologue 'Maid of Honor'". And you hand them the resume (that I wrote up yesterday in class. I've been in 4 shows and on the technical side of 11). Then you do the monologue and after he asks you a question.

My monologue is comedic. Really, very funny, and I actually use a New York accent and everything. It's great. And I totally nailed it! People were even laughing during it.

After class, three people sought me out to tell me that I did a great job, and another said I was fantastic in passing. I was talking to this one kid and he said that Carl was keeping a straight face for everyone else and wasn't showing any emotion, but that he started to laugh during mine, and was trying hard not to smile during it. *throws arms up* I am Spartacus!

Woo! So I was really excited. Go me!

Now I need sustenance and to enjoy the beautiful day. Hmmm...

    Goodnight Elizabeth - Counting Crows

She's always buzzing just like neon, neon. Who knows how long she can go before she fades away.

Watched Survivor and CSI with Cici. Woo!

Losing my mind. A lot.

Me: *gets out of chair. circles around room. looks confused*
Cici: *???*
Me: I know there was something I was going to do. *thinks*
Cici: Want a chip?
Me: *shrugs and takes chip. sits back down*

Should do homework. Maybe not though. Shower now. Work after. Or sleep. Eh, whatever.

Also! It's 68 degrees! At night! It's BEEEE-U-TEEEE-FUL!!! Tomorrow it's only going to be mid-50s and rainy. I love spring!

Hey Jude, don't make it bad. Take a sad song and make it better

Well, after a long night of slacking off and spamming my sister's journal, I have decided to go to bed. (That and Ci is going to bed, and it loses the effect).

My efforts were not completely fruitless though.

Inspired by both the Survivor episode tonight and Cici getting a new icon, I have made myself one.

Jeff - Flamer.

*smirk* I like it a lot.

OH! And I mentioned the Heidi Chronicles letter that we are supposed to be getting (a lot of people already got it and some students are pretty angry/upset/annoyed). I was amazed for myself because my parents and I don't really *talk* much. Not that we had a deep conversation or anything, but I mentioned it, and that we'd be getting a letter against the language and portrayal of a gay character and my dad said: "I saw that. It was fine." And coming from my father that's pretty impressive. So yay for parental support of a cause.

This is *me*
This is *me going to bed*

Goodnight moon.
