Autumn in the Windy City...

...It's so fucking cold!! Okay, now that that's out of the way. Seriously though, there are currently wind advisories of 20 to 35 mile per hour winds. Some places reaching 50 mph. That's incredibly fast. Strong enough to knock down trees and power lines. Please don't let us loose power! It's too cold to go with out heat. Really, it's only 37 degrees (only, ha! I'm already prepping myself for a subzero winter), but the wind chill is 17. 17! That's really cold. I want to move to Florida, or California. Maybe Arizona. Somewhere warm and sunny.

Happiness is Strawberry Fruit Roll-Ups. Soooo goooood.

So is downloading Aerosmith songs.

Homework is not. I'll start it soon....maybe.

I had a really good tech today. We actually ran through my act (I got the second act) with the cast and all the crew elements (lights, sound, shift, props) and it went really well. Considering it was my first run through ever, I did really well.

I had a US History Test today. I didn't really look at my Scantron grade, though we got those back to staple to our essays, but I think I did well. I also wrote a really good essay. So yay!

Also, we got back a Creative Writing piece in English. It was an extension to the play we had been reading. The writing part was worth 60 points, and an evaluation/synthesis we wrote post-product was worth another 40. He commented on my play that I had really good use of emotional dialog and did a great job of showing the heroine in her lowest point. I was really proud of myself when I was writing it, too, so that meant so much to me. He commented on this one part that was kind of weak, but on the evaluation I did, I also mentioned that part and explained the difficulties I had with it. For almost everything I had analyzed, he wrote "Yes" or "Exactly" and all this stuff. That makes me happy, because it means I'm really good at evaluating my own work the way he would. Yay! Besides, I received a 57 out of 60 on the play, and a 40 out of 40 on the synthesis. 97%, whoo-who!

I guess today was a really good day. No one overly pissed me off. My classes went alright. I met with my counselor to "touch base", because she's the sweetest woman ever, and so we talked for a bit. It was actually pretty ironic that she call me in, because Allie and I had just been talking yesterday how odd it is that some people actually go to their counselor to talk about family problems, or friends. I go if I have an issue in a class, but that's about it. I guess it's nice to know that I have the resource if I need it, though.

So, yay! Happiness is me currently!

Eat the Rich (live) - Aerosmith

My Aunt is insane...

She lives in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan and sent out a mass e-mail today to inform us all that it is snowing and sticking. And this makes her insanely happy.

I don't get it. Snow is great the first couple days when it's all pretty, then you just start to curse the fucking stuff that never seems to go away.

Winter around here lasts from November to April. That's almost half the year. Blah. It's coming!

    Full Circle - Aerosmith

Incase I haven't reiterated this point enough in the past few days.....

Aerosmith is awesome!

"If you can judge a wise man, but the color of his skin,
then Mister, you're a better man than I." - Livin' on the Edge

"Life's a journey, not a destination." - Amazing

"Sing with me, sing for the years,
Sing for the laughter and sing for the tears." - Dream On

"They say the spell that he was under,
The lightnin' and the thunder,
Knew that someone had to stop the rain." - Janie's Got a Gun

"Yeah, there's a hole in my soul,
but one thing I've learned,
for every love letter written,
there's another one burned." - Hole in My Soul

Okay, that's it for now. Incredible. Simply amazing. *sings "Amazing. With the blink of an eye, I can finally see the light."*

Sometimes I feel broke and can't get fixed (Hole in my Soul)

Right.....like that will *ever* happen

So, theoretically, I got home an hour and a half ago, and as such, should have started homework so I can go to bed at a reasonable time.

*breathe* *gasp* *sigh*

Damn, I'm such a slack.

    Jaded - Aerosmith

Hee hee hee!

This is me.

This is me spamming a whole bunch of crap.

This is you.

This is you reading all my junk.

This is me not doing homework.

This is me realizing that this will all catch up to me one day soon.

This is me not caring, because tomorrow is Friday, and...yes.
