My Day (really this time)

[*squee* - That's When I'll Stop Loving You on mp3 player. Damn it, boys. I would've done anything to go to Columbus. It really shouldn't make me feel this sad. Fuckers.]

Watched Josie.... It was okay. Obviously not stellar, but I wasn't expecting it to be. I enjoy Alan Cummings, and Carson played a hit man/bad guy. It was awesome! But they played off the Tara-dating-Carson thing too much. Ha, not anymore... "Carson Daly's former fiance, Tara Reid....

Went to Target to pick up video tapes. (Taped the Teen Choice, obviously). They didn't have Frappuccino. Well, they had Hazelnut and Vanilla, but I like the Carmel. Dominick's doesn't even sell them. Didn't get a chance to go to Jewel, I was already running late.

Arrived at Lew's at 5:40 (10 minutes late. Oops, damn Dominick's run). We all went to Jack's for dinner. It, of course, wasn't very good, but it's Jack's.

After, we went to Paint and Party. I was against it, but I found a really pretty angel/fairy that I really liked. We didn't finish, so Candace, Amanda, Caitlin and I will be going back Saturday to finish up.

Then we went back to Lewis's. Didn't have enough time to watch a movie, so we played the card game Mafia for a while. I had to leave a little before 11 to be home for curfew. Damn, 78 days until I can be out late and see R-rated movies. That will be nice. But saying 2 and a half months seems shorter for some reason. Oh well.

Came home, watched Teen Choice Awards. Mocked some parts, laughed at others, raised one eyebrow at a lot. Maybe I'm getting too old for this. Adam Sandler and Carrot Top were not funny to me. Oh well, my last entry was all a play by play commentary on the important stuff (or at least what I think is the important stuff).

Should go to bed soon. I slept so much this morning, but it's really not good. I should be awake to care for child and answer the phone when it rings at 11:58. I shouldn't be answering the door to the UPS guy in my pajamas at 1pm. I'm such a slack. But I guess I'm just trying to get it all in before school. Yuck, school. I should feel lucky that I haven't started already. Two more weeks. Thank god!!

Yep...bed time. Night night all!

Random quiz/survey

1. Open up your CD player, what's inside?:
Celebrity - *NSYNC, Dexter Freebish - A Life of Saturdays, Yourself or Someone Like You - Matchbox 20

2. Look in your VCR/DVD player, is there a movie?:
The tape I used to record the TCA last night...my DVD player is empty.

3. If there happens to be music playing right now, what is it?:
Jimmy Fallon's Christmas Parodies (songs include Creed's With Arms Wide Open, David Gray's Babylon, and U2's Beautiful Day)

4. What are you wearing?:
Black Mesh Eastern Illinois University shorts with a gray tank top (they are my pj's)

5. Look down, what's the first thing that catches your eye?:
My kitty (who is laying on a blanket on my lap)

6. Turn on your TV if it's not on already, what network is it?:
That would involve finding the remote. Hang on...*rummages through crap on floor of room* *realizes it was sitting next to the computer and I wouldn't have had to move* *slaps head* It's still on channel 12 (FOX) from the TCA last night.

7. Look out the window, what's the weather like?
I have no window's in my room...but I think it's sunny and 75 degrees. Beautiful day.

8. If you were to hit redial on your phone right now, where would it call?:
My cell would call Caitlin (because she just called me about 20 minutes ago). My normal phone would probably call Allie.

9. Say "hello?" out loud, did anyone answer?:
I said it, to which my niece responded "What?" Like it was totally random, which it was.

10. What are you planning on doing next as soon as you get offline?
Showering, then going to some parks with Zoe, followed by going to Jewel to get some Frappuccino.

List Your Top Five Celebs [Damn, this is hard. I'm going with just male, because it's too hard to scruntch everyone into one list.]

1. Rob Thomas
2. Ben Affleck
3. Jason Lee
4. JC Chasez
5. John Cusack

So that was me, using a survey thing I found in someone elses journal. K, I'm done. Go away now.

My Insight of the Day

I do not say that I'm from Illinois. There is a negative connotation that comes with...

[*squee* the 6th MB20 song today! You and I and I]

...living in Illinois. You know, that I'm a farmer and live in the middle of a corn field. What most people forget is that Chicago (the 3rd largest city in the country - even though LA cheats) is in the corn field state. The suburbs of Chicago are actually very nice (very lacking is corn), with some of the best school systems in the Country, and highest property taxes because these are such great places to live.

Anyway, I'm not from Illinois...I'm from Chicago.

Hee hee

Two more MB20 songs in a row! This makes 8 & 9 for the day! So exciting (3am piano acoustic version, followed by This is Not A Love Song).

I took Zoe to a park for about 45 minutes. I sat on a bench and worked on a little writing while she made friends with other little kids and played. Now, she's laying down for a nap. Hopefully the fresh air will knock her out (I know I could take a nap right now, but I'm too busy talking to people through AIM).

Mmmm, MB20 followed by NSYNC. It's sad, but that makes me really happy. (hee hee, JC's solo in I Want You Back is the best!)

Didn't go to Jewel (though I wanted to), because I have a grand total of *drum roll please* $5!!!
Opa!
Yes, being broke sucks a lot. Well, I could see a movie tonight, and still have a buck fifty to save me until Friday, when I will get my last pay for babysitting. That sucks a lot.

I wonder how much parking is down by the House of Blues. I'm going down there tomorrow night, and I don't think $5 will cover it. Perhaps mommy will advance me the babysitting money. Thank god parking at the Tweeter Center is free (that's our Friday Night outing. Yeah Barenaked Ladies!!).

Mmmm, 2 MB20 followed by an NSYNC, then 2 BNL in a row! Shit, this is a good music day!!

::Playlist::
*3am (piano acoustic) - Matchbox 20
*This is Not a Love Song - Tabitha's Secret
*I Want You Back - NSYNC
*Alternative Girlfriend - Barenaked Ladies
*It's All Been Done - Barenaked Ladies

Went to the updated NSYNC.com site

I must say, it's better than the old one. Not so.....blue? Well, anyway, it's a lot cooler. Very cluttered though, and it made my eyes hurt. That's no good. Oh well, there usually isn't very good info there anyway, so I don't go to it that often.

That's all.

Took the Gay Test...

I took the Gay Test at Spark.com

I had tried taking it before, but the pages were all screwed up and I never finished. My results:

You are 26% GAY!
That's less gay than average for someone of your gender and supposed orientation. The typical straight female is 32% gay!

Here's how you compare:
32% people less gay than you
4% people just as gay as you
62% people gayer than you

Guess I would suck as a Lesbian. Oh well, women are too needy anyway. Guys are definitely the way to go.

My evening at home (blah)

I watched (okay, fine, I taped, yes taped) Entertainment Weekly. (Ya happy now?)

That's besides the point, it was a sucky little tidbit, but I will be taping Ananda's show, when ever they will be on it.

We ordered pizza for dinner. Blah, it wasn't even that good. All greasy and stuff. And I really feel like eating ice cream now, but I've sworn it off for the next two weeks. Stupid wedding. Stupid dress. Blah.

Yeah, so apparently I'm not in a terrific mood right not. Not sure why. Just...not.

Took a mini nap earlier. I got 10 hours of sleep today and I was still tired. What the fuck? I don't understand. I shouldn't be this exhausted. I mean, school hasn't even started yet. Oh well.

Yeah, so I'm being all negative and stuff, and pisses the crap out of me, cus I know I wouldn't want to read this, so you probably don't either. Bye.

Tired

Don't know why am actually writing an entry to say this, but I'm going to bed now.

It's kind of sad that I update my journal so much, but then again I guess this is the age of the technology, so it's acceptable.
