Up and *yawn* at 'em

Actually I've been up for over an hour, but I'm still so tired. Got 10 and a half hours of sleep last night. So good for me. I never sleep enough. I never drink enough either. 8 glasses of water a day, my ass. I'm lucky if I get 2. Eating too. I never have breakfast. Everyone says it's the most important meal of the day, and I don't usually have time for it. Oh well. Maybe in my next life I'll be healthy.

Haven't started burning the 46 CDs I need to make. Blah. I'm letting Caitlin come over today. She wants to use the internet. She technically has aol at home, but her mom doesn't let her use it. Sheltered, very sheltered.

I have nothing fun to write today. At least not yet. Once something cool or funny happens, I'll report it, but currently, I'm just trying to figure out how to make my plant live in my room. No windows, no natural light at all, no nature air either, though I'm sure it loves the air conditioning. No bugs to pollinate (or at least I hope not). I can give it water, and that's about it. I'll have to bring it upstairs sometime. Grrr, give up ownership to mom. "Damn the man, save the empire."

Maybe I'll watch a movie today. Or go somewhere in my car. If I take the child shopping, she's want me to buy her something, or at least to have a destination. I like wandering around the mall, with no purpose or direction. It's a nice feeling. I'm a mallrat at heart. Not at Northbrook Court though. I've sworn off that snobby jap breading ground. A bunch of stupid fake people that I don't want to have to smile politely at and carry on small talk. To hell with that, I'll stick with Hawthorn.

Need to go to eye doctor. Fayanne just told me mom wants to make appointments. It's about freakin' time. It's been 2 and a half years since I've gone (yeah, once a year...not in this family). My glasses are broken, and I've needed new ones for about a year, because my night visions been getting worse. I mentioned it a couple times, but mommy didn't do anything. Oh well, they are only eyes. What do you need those for?

I'm going to go now. I'll be checking for NSYNC tickets all day. My sister and I are planning on going on Thursday in Louisville. We figured that we had such luck in Arkansas getting tickets the day before (21 row, 6 seats from catwalk), we'd try it again. I'm getting a bit worried, but Indiana's only a week later if we end up with nothing.

Just a Quicky

Before I take a shower, just wanted to tell y'all about the cute conversation I had with my niece.
Zoe: I wish there were talking cats. Tom can talk.
Me: Yeah, but he doesn't say much.
Zoe: He says *OUCH!!*

It was so adorable. I need to go get ready though, because when Fayanne comes back from lunch, we are going shopping at Old Orchard. Her new J. Crew sandals that she just bought are starting to come apart, so she wants to return them.

Still no luck with NSYNC tickets...I really hope we didn't miss our opportunity. I would be incredibly sad if we did. Must shower...and call Caitlin...and call people about the meeting on Tuesday...crap, so much to do.
