Does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?

First off, The Breakfast Club is still a brilliant film. Though editing it for the cursing is really irritating. What's a little language between friends? Honestly FCC.

And I'm really confused why "eat my shorts" had to be edited to "eat my socks." Am I missing something? Did not Bart Simpson use the phrase often in the early 90's? Why must we edit it from a film being aired in 2008? If those episodes of The Simpsons were to air now, would they be censored, or is it a Fox vs. WGN thing? Does the FCC allow "eat my shorts" but WGN does not?

(In a sidenote, I think it's ridiculous that people are up in arms over Jane Fonda saying "cunt" on The Today Show. I mean, she was talking about the title of segment of the Vagina Monologues. And really? We're upset about cunt? I'm fairly certain that we don't censor "dick." Perhaps I'm just a flaming liberal, but I don't really see the problem, particularly since it's a title of a work of art.)

Second, I went to see The Spiderwick Chronicles and really enjoyed it. I adore Freddie Highmore (who celebrated his 16th birthday on Valentine's Day), and it was a good piece of filmmaking (especially for being a kid-oriented movie). Overall, very interesting.

That's all for now. Good times.
