Because I must...

That's my beautiful new niece, Cora.

And my sister Fayanne with her lovely little bundle.
I can't even tell you what I would give to be up in Mattoon, Illinois right now.
But alas. I have my thesis to work on all weekend. I think I'll head out to Spring Hill to do it, though. Emily and Tom are both working all weekend, so I'll have their house to myself for the most part (it will be much quieter and hopefully less tense than my apartment). And I'm running out of food anyway, so I may as well mooch for a while.

I'm an aunt again!!
:-D
My sister Fayanne had her baby girl, Cora Elizabeth, this morning at 10:44am (CST).
I didn't write down all the information, but they got to the hospital at 7am, so it was a pretty quick delivery and all that. The baby is something like 18 inches long, 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and I'm sure absolutely perfect in every way. I will hopefully be getting a flood of pictures in no time.
YAY!
It's times like these that make it particularly hard to be so far away...

I hate prints.
More specifically, I hate my History of Prints class.
I'm going to fail tomorrow's test, and then the class, then have to take summer school in order to graduate. I don't know if they even offer upper-level art history classes during the summer...so I'm going to fail and have to wait until fall to finish my requirements to graduate.
Ugh.

In other news, for those that I gave scantily lacking details, Katy Walsh (Ballard) had a baby boy named Charlie, most likely on February 1st (that's when I was informed of it).
So yes.

Samantha Jean Glader was born at 3:43am this morning.
Oddly enough, it's also my nephew Michael's birthday today. He's 13.
